- The most important rule is to quit caffeinated drinks before detox. You must not consume acidic drinks like coffee, black tea, coke and alcohol.
- For preparation, you need to drink at least 3 liters of water everyday (preferably at least with 9.5 pH and alkali, ionized water, if you can’t find it you can dissolve 1 tea spoon of sodium bicarbonate in 1,5 liter of water which has 8 pH). You can drink 1,5 liter until noon and the other 1,5 liter until you sleep.
- You need to start your day with 2 big glasses of water in room temperature. You should not drink water with meals. The ideal is drinking water half hour before the meals or 1 hour after the meals.
- You need to dissolve 1 teaspoon of Himalayan Salt in 1 glass of water and drink it everyday.
- You should drink at least 2 glasses of fresh squeezed vegetable or fruit juice (except orange juice).
- You should satisfy your need of hot drinks with herbal teas.
- At the end of the day, you should consume a glass of dissolved one coffee spoon of sodium bicarbonate.
- Your breakfast may involve fresh squeezed vegetable/fruit juices, fruits, cucumber, tomatoes, peppers, olives, tahini, couple of roasted multi-grained breads such as rye and oat breads.
- For snacks, you can eat fresh vegetables and fruits such as cucumber with its peel. A handful of fresh, raw almond, dried apricots are good options as well.
- For lunch and dinner, you can consume salads, vegetable meals without meat, olive oil vegetables, freshly prepared vegetable soups.
- Your dinner should end by 19:00 preferably (or at sundown). After that, you can only consume herbal teas.
- This week, red meat, chicken and dairy products should not be consumed.
- If animal protein is wanted, you can eat sea fish in small amounts.
- You can consume lentil, chickpea, white beans and black-eyed beans.
- You can consume buckwheat, brown rice and bulgur.
- It is good to consume at least amount of bread possible.
- If you are going to eat bread, the best is eating 2-3 slices of wholegrain-roasted bread.
- You should not consume heavy carbohydrates (pasta, rice, pastry etc.).
- You should consume a lot of raw vegetables and fruits (at least 3 portions a day).
- You can satisfy your need of dessert with date and agave/tahini.
